Daisies and Cone Flowers

Who doesn't love daisies and cone flowers?

This first daisy card is for the A Muse Summer is Blossoming challenge.
It was inspired by a sketch over at Scrapadilly.
It features some DCWV papers and a Gina K Designs Stamp with a touch of Washi Tape.

This card is also for the A Muse Studio Challenge.
This card was inspired by the Kraft with Ribbon challenge over at 3 Girl Jam.
I just love using the crinkle ribbon.
The paper is from Canvas Home Basics and the stamp is from Unity.
I cut out the oval and lacy oval (spellbinders) and used some gold metallic rub-on paste to the black lacy oval.

Thanks for stopping by!

Pop Art Flowers

Here is a colorful pop-art flower card.

The challenge was to use a flower stamp on your card and that's exactly what I did.  I stamped it four times on bright card stock, cut them out, and added them to coordinating squares of color.
I had this card stock for years, back before these colors were hot.
The flower stamp is from Gina K Designs and the sentiment is from Gourmet Rubber Stamps.

I hope you are having a brightly colored summer!

Christmas in August?

Christmas in July August

Here we go!  I made a card with a Christmas theme.  This isn't a usual Christmas card for me, I usually recycle old Christmas card into new ones, but this one is from scratch.

They asked that you use Christmas colors or a Christmas theme.
I opened my scrap paper drawer, and these papers happened to be on top, so I used them.  They are from the DCWV Christmas Stack from a few years ago.  The candies were given to me in a swap.

Well, at least I'm making headway on my Christmas cards.  How about you?
