Oh Christmas Tree...

Here is another recycled greeting that I made.  I love recycling old greeting cards.

The trunk of the tree is a piece of American Crafts glitter tape that I just got.

This card is for the Third Thursday Challenge at the Crafty Steals blog.  This was a fun sketch.

I hope this inspires you to recycle some of your old Christmas cards.

Zero Calorie Gingerbread House

A dieter's delight!  Here is a Gingerbread House I made out of papers and craft supplies.  Sorry that it's not edible.

The template is found here.  The roof isn't part of the template, but it measures 5.5 x 6.5 inches.
I cut it out of chipboard (a cereal box) and covered it with brown Mulberry paper.  All of the candy embellishments are cut from paper as well.

This was for Challenge #41 over at My Scrap Room.

It was so much fun to create.  I might just make a whole village...

Sweet to the Core

Here I am with yet another card.  I have this set of stamps from Gel-a-tins that I just couldn't wait to use.  I love the idea of patterned fruit.  I might have to make more of these in different patterns.

This card is for the Go Fish Color Challenge #28.

I hope this inspires you to make something that is sweet to the core.

Winter Wonderland

I've been on a roll making recycling old Christmas cards into new ones.  This is one of my favorite things to do for the holidays.  Many people save their cards for me after Christmas.  I have made too many to post on my blog, but here is one I did for a challenge:

This was inspired by the Mojo Monday Sketch 266.  I really love their sketches.

What do you do with your left over cards?  If you just throw them in the trash, please reconsider and recycle them into something new.  If that's not your thing, just put them all in a big envelope and send them to me, hahaha.

Sending you Smiles

I'm sending you smiles across the miles!

Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted a card for a challenge.  I thought today would be a great day to pick that back up.

This card is for the Skipping Stones Design Sketch #153 challenge.

I used the Fabulous Flower Technique by Tesa featured on the Skipping Stones Blog.
This was fun and really easy to make.
